I was his patient at his previous practice and have chosen to travel 45 minutes because I trust him and his work. The office personnel are very kind and accommodating. Dr. Lawrence Fischer always knew he wanted a career where his attention to detail and passion for human connection could come together to positively impact lives. With its blending of art, science, and relationship, dentistry was the answer. He loves to form genuine relationships with his patients while treating them with the same care he would his own family. Delivering a fresh dental experience, he combines leading-edge technology and advanced skill tailored to you and your unique needs.
Education & Experience
Attending Clemson University, he graduated with an undergraduate degree in economics and minor in business administration. His passion for dentistry guided him to Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine where he earned his doctorate dental degree. He completed his General Practice Residency at Case Western University. Perfecting his skills, he continued his training with a focus on oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, and fixed/removable prosthetics. Practicing general dentistry has given Dr. Fischer the chance to build lasting, meaningful relationships within the Charleston community.
Home Life
Dr. Fischer loves spending time with his wife, Jessica, their daughter, Sunny, and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Finn. Originally from Greenville, SC, they've made the Low Country their home. You’ll often see Jessica and Sunny around the practice, making it a true family environment. Finn is a gentle presence in the office and is known for helping ease patient anxiety with his calming demeanor.
A self-proclaimed tech nerd and hands-on hobbyist, Dr. Fischer enjoys golfing, DIY projects, fly fishing, and exploring the outdoors. He looks forward to sharing these passions with Sunny as she grows, and encouraging her to discover her own interests along the way.
